FYI, this story is more than a year old

Kiwibank customers should be on the lookout for a new phishing attack that sends messages pretending to be from the bank and inviting recipients to click on a link to access their data.

One reads, ‘we’d like to inform you that your secure messages center has 1 new message’, while another simply offers a link saying, ‘view your statement of account’.

The latter comes from an @kiwibank.co.nz address, meaning it may slip by spam detectors.

As always, the advice is to delete these messages immediately, and check your spam settings. Kiwibank also invites customers to forward phishing emails to them for investigation.
