FYI, this story is more than a year old

ASUS has announced the New Zealand availability of the Republic Of Gamers G Series G750 notebook for PC gaming enthusiasts.

It uses 4th generation Intel Core i7 processors and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 700M series GPUs, plus the latest connectivity standards.

For cooling, G750 has a powerful rear-venting dual exhaust system based on designs from previous G Series notebooks.

Improved audio output comes from the inclusion of ASUS SonicMaster technology with the ROG AudioWizard sound tuning utility, which was especially designed for ROG gaming notebooks.

Advanced gaming power and the fastest connections

G750 delivers full desktop replacement performance in a sleek notebook form factor. It offers new 4th generation Intel Core i7 processors to accelerate system operation and ensure smooth multitasking and multimedia with improved energy efficiency.

For full HD graphics in ultra settings, gamers enjoy the power of discrete NVIDIA GeForce GTX 700M series graphics processors with up to 4GB of GDDR5 video memory.

Intel Thunderbolt connectivity is included, offering a single port that can transfer video and data at up to 10Gbit/s (or double the bandwidth of USB 3.0) with a maximum six compatible devices daisy-chained to it.

G750 supports diverse storage configurations, with up to dual hard drives (1TB or 1.5TB in capacity) using a SATA 6Gbit/s interface, paired with a 256GB SSD that enables overall faster performance with Windows 8. RAID 0 is also supported, completing game-enhancing storage.

Powerful cooling reduces heat and noise levels

Based on previous G Series designs, G750 employs dual rear-venting exhausts with two fans to push heat and noise away from gamers.

In addition to fast heat dissipation and improved stability even during the most intense gaming moments, the design guarantees a comfortable and quiet environment.

Immersive game audio

G750 features exclusive ASUS SonicMaster audio technology as developed by a dedicated team of sound engineers. SonicMaster balances powerful audio hardware and high-fidelity sound processing software to deliver the best audio performance of any gaming notebook, helping action come to life.

The ROG AudioWizard utility offers flexible sound settings users can modify based on individual preference, as well as five preset modes for different game genres.

An onboard amplifier channels power to headphones, making sure personal audio sounds impactful and realistic, unlike the typically tinny and flat output of other gaming notebooks. With G750, gamers can enjoy impressive audio without disturbing others or compromising on quality.

Gamer-focused design
The ROG G Series has a tradition of accommodating extended gaming sessions with comfort-ensuring features, and on G750 this extends to the inclined user input and keyboard surface, which is angled to lower wrist strain.

The gaming-friendly keyboard itself is full-size, with long key travel and an easy-access directional cluster to make in-game movement more natural.

Palm rests use durable materials that remain comfortable to the touch at all times, while the large and responsive multi-point touchpad employs scissor-feet buttons for long-term endurance and accuracy.

The ASUS ROG G750 is priced from RRP NZ$3,599 and is available in New Zealand through authorised ASUS resellers.
