Mon, 18th May 2015
FYI, this story is more than a year old

The first official trailer for the much-hyped Steve Jobs film has been released.

From director Danny Boyle and screenwriter Aaron Sorkin, the new film features Michael Fassbender as Jobs.

The film is highly anticipated to outclass Ashton Kutcher's 2013 effort.

The trailer reveals little of film's plotline, but shows the Apple founder ready to deliver one of his famous keynotes. Early rumours implied the film will cover the introduction of the Macintosh computer, the reveal of the NeXT computer, and the big release of the iPod in 1984, 1988 and 2001 respectively.

The film has an impressive cast, with Kate Winslet to star as Joanna Hoffman, one of the original members of both the Macintosh team and the NeXT team, Jeff Daniels as former Apple CEO John Sculley, and Seth Rogan as Steve Wozniak.

Steve Jobs is based on Walter Isaccson's best selling biography of the Apple founder.
