'All you can eat' mobile plan made permanent
Mon, 18th Apr 2011
FYI, this story is more than a year old

The company has trialled the plan since December, offering it out to the first 10,000 customers who signed up by January 31st, 2011.

The $149 plan covers all standard national calls to any New Zealand mobile and landline (as long as you abide by the fair use policy).

You also get 1000 texts to anyone in New Zealand and 250MB of 3G data.

Standard calls exclude calls to premium rate numbers (e.g. 018, 0900) and overseas roaming.

The plan is available as a 12 or 24 month contract or month-by-month.

"This offer will change the way people in New Zealand use their mobile,” said 2degrees Chief Marketing Officer, Larrie Moore. "Being able to call anyone, any time and talk for as long as you like without being charged a cent more for it is a completely new concept for most mobile users here.

"It's offers like this that change the market for the benefit of consumers. Anyone spending over $149 a month on their mobile phone needs to seriously consider this plan.
