ANZ goMoney goes Android for smartphones
Mon, 3rd Dec 2012
FYI, this story is more than a year old

ANZ's goMoney mobile app is now available for Android-supported smartphones.

ANZ says the app will enable Android users to access a wide range of ANZ services from their phone, with the app available for download from the Google Play Store.

“GoMoney allows customers to monitor their accounts, make payments and check balances anytime and any place there is mobile phone coverage. It's like having an ANZ branch on their phone,” says Kerri Thompson ANZ Managing Director for Retail.

“Since ANZ National launched goMoney for iPhone, 100,000 customers are performing an average 2.5 million transactions a month.

“Now we've adapted it specifically for Android phones so that it's just as secure, easy to access and easy to use.

The Android app will allow internet banking through Android supported smartphones so customers can:

• view account balances• view up to 30 days worth of transaction history• transfer between accounts• make bill payments and view upcoming payments

To use ANZ Mobile Banking, ANZ says customers must be registered for ANZ Internet Banking and have a 3G-enabled Android smartphone or device that is enabled for cellular or wireless internet connection, including an active mobile phone number.

There is no monthly account fee for using ANZ goMoney for Android.
