FYI, this story is more than a year old

Wakey wakey rise and shine, Apple's WWDC is streaming live…

Yes it's silly o'clock in the morning and yes we are all still half asleep, but open your eyes and check out Apple.com - where broadcasts of Apple's annual conference is streaming live.

In a media release to the press, the Cupertino company says the WWDC 2013 keynote address will be beamed using Apple's HTTP Live Streaming, across most iOS devices from 5am this morning NZ time.

Viewing requires Safari on iOS 4.2 or later on any iPhone, iPad, iPad mini or iPod touch; Safari 4 or later on Mac OS X v10.6 or later.

Streaming via Apple TV requires second or third generation Apple TV with software 5.0.2 or later.

The company has finished preparations for the event, after installing banners at the San Francisco centre through out last week.

Of the rumoured releases, most parts of the media believe an iRadio launch, an iOS 7 design and a new MacBook Pro will take centre stage, among many other products and software.
