Armed robbers steal 100 copies of Call of Duty: Black Ops

Kotaku has reported that armed robbers stole approximately 100 copies of the as-yet unreleased Call of Duty: Black Ops from a Baltimore-area GameStop in the US over the weekend.

According to Kotaku, a Harford County sheriff claims the raid took place at the Festival at Bel Air shopping centre on Saturday evening (Sunday New Zealand time).

The game is scheduled to release worldwide on November 9th. While that is tomorrow for us here in New Zealand, US gamers will finally get their hands on Black Ops the following day. Like last year's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, it's expected to become one of the highest-grossing entertainment releases of all time.
