FYI, this story is more than a year old

Sounds too good to be true, but it isn't...

Sony Computer Entertainment New Zealand has passed over details of a new promotion for PSPgo. As of June 11th the firm is offering ten free games for download via the PlayStation Store “absolutely free”. No strings attached, apart from the fact that you have to be over 18.

Here are the ten on offer:

  • Assassins Creed: Bloodlines
  • Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories
  • Gran Turismo
  • James Cameron’s Avatar: The Game
  • LittleBigPlanet
  • MotorStorm Arctic Edge
  • Need For Speed Shift
  • Pursuit Force: Extreme Justice
  • 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa
  • WipEout Pure

Once you buy a brand new PSPgo and connect it to the PlayStation Network, launch the PlayStation Store to download the new PSPgo theme. Sony will then email you a voucher that will allow you to download your ten free games.

This is usually the part where we’d jokingly say ‘sucks to be you if you bought a PSPgo last week’ but Sony is backdating the offer to people who purchased a PSPgo after April 1st.

Don’t sit on this too long though. Offer ends September 30th. Hit this link for the full T&Cs.
