Canon launches 50k online auction
Wed, 15th Sep 2010
FYI, this story is more than a year old

The auction is due to go live this afternoon on Trade Me and will offer more than 100 Canon products with a grand value of over $50,000 (RRP).

100% of proceeds will be donated to the Mayoral Earthquake Relief Fund.

Mike Johnston, Country Manager of Canon New Zealand, said, “It is going to take a lot of time and financial assistance to rebuild Christchurch but we are very fortunate to live in a nation where charitable giving is such a strong part of our culture. Kiwis really step up when needed and we hope they will dig deep with this auction.”

The auction will close at 5pm on Sunday September 19th.  All products come with a Canon 12 month warranty.

Due to the number of auctions running at once, Cannon says it cannot reply to questions.

Up for grabs include digital compact cameras, inkjet and laser printers, video cameras, digital SLR cameras and lenses and scanners.
