New Zealand's largest conference organiser Conferenz, announces their first dedicated electric vehicles (EV) show.
This show is aimed at bringing together the EV curious, EV owners and EVangelists for a unique combined industry and public showcase.
EV World NZ will take place on September 8 and 9, 2017 at the Vodafone Events Centre, Manukau.
The event acts as a reminder of the ambitious goals that are set by the Government, aiming to double EV registrations each year to reach up to 64,000 by 2021.
Dominic Duncan, GM of sponsorship at Conferenz says, “I'm excited by the launch of the show, bringing together the key stakeholders for EV promotion.
“it's the future of mobility and we're the first to create something for this exploding market.
“This is how we will raise awareness with corporates and the public to reduce emissions in the transport sector.
It is widely recognised that the greatest opportunity to meet climate change targets is through reducing emissions in the transport space.
The event reflects the Government's focus on achieving their climate change goals for a cleaner, greener New Zealand.
The event caters to the entire EV ecosystem with a trade day including conference, exhibition and seminars on Friday September 8.
There will be a public day with free seminars and exhibition on Saturday September 9.
The event will also have the EV Champions' Awards Gala.
This will be opening the event on September 7 and aims to show recognition towards EV heroes and towns that work to promote and support the uptake of EVs across the country.
