First it was swearing for Unicef, now Facebook and Twitter users are being invited to talk s**t for a week in support of World Toilet Day, which is this Saturday.
Individuals who sign up authorise ToiletDay.org to post or tweet messages drawing attention to the global shortage of toilets, which causes disease and often death.
Yesterday’s message stated that more people in the world have a mobile phone than a toilet.
ToiletDay.org, which is partly funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, assures users it will terminate the permission to use their accounts once the campaign finishes.
