FYI, this story is more than a year old

Apple has released the first high-quality renderings of its new campus in home town of Cupertino, California, revealing a space-age circular building amidst a sea of greenery.

The project comprises an office, research and development building covering around 2.8 million square feet, research facilities covering around 300,000 square feet, a 1000-seat auditorium, and a corporate fitness centre. It will be home to 13,000 Apple employees, and will be powered by an on-site plant.

The campus was first proposed in June, and all going to plan is expected to be finished in 2015.
