Free offering of Gotham City Imposters
Mon, 3rd Sep 2012
FYI, this story is more than a year old

Developed by Monolith Productions, the game’s free-to-play release hasn’t been a half measure; they’ve also included all the DLC packs, including new maps and weapons. Sweet deal.

If you’ve never heard of the game, take a look at the launch video here, it looks pretty damn fun, and I’m downloading it as we speak.

Gotham City Impostors is already available on PC, Xbox 360 and Playstation 3, and is a first-person shooter where twelve players dressed up as either the Joker or Batman try to kill each other, which to me sounds like a formula for success if ever there was one.

Customisation is stressed heavily, with options available to adapt your weapons, clothing and even character size. Meaning you can have a gigantic ogre of a man dressed in a Batman-themed bulletproof vest with a bazooka.

The game also combines traditional weapons from the Batman universe like grappling hooks and gliders with less traditional ones such as bear traps and megaphones.

To download the game, you simply need an active Steam account which is simple enough, then simply search for Gotham City Impostors – it’s free, it looks like fun, and although it doesn’t look like the deepest game out there it will most likely be a good way to kill a few hours.

Downloaded it yet? Give us your thoughts on the game in the comments below.
