The Christmas season is notorious for an increase in burglaries as criminals target Christmas gifts and gadgets.

In response, network and surveillance product company Funlux has launched a new fully wireless security system, offering HD video recording, remote viewing and push messaging functionality when motion is detected via its free app.

According Funlux, the increase in burglaries over Christmas is so significant, Halifax Home Insurance recorded an average of 50 burglary claims made each day during the holiday period.

The entire can be completely installed within two minutes. The 720P HD video can be viewed on a TV or PC monitor, or on a smartphone for remote viewing when linked to the app.
