Google has embedded a weather layer to its Google Maps tool, thanks to partnerships with weather.com and the US Naval Research Lab.

According to a post on the Google blog, users will be able to access instant weather reports for any city in the globe, including temperature readings and four-day forecasts.

To access the tool, go to Google Maps and hover over the icon in the top right-hand corner.
