Google celebrates 30 years of Pac-Man
Mon, 24th May 2010
FYI, this story is more than a year old

Namo joined forces with Google over the weekend for a very special (and playable) version of the Google logo.

The firms created a Pac-Man doodle to celebrate the chomper's 30th anniversary. And over the weekend you had the chance to play all 256 levels of Pac-Man by clicking on the “insert coin” or waiting a few seconds.

“While Google has created more than 300 doodles in the US and over 700 internationally, this is the first time a doodle has been playable or had sound,” boasted Namco.

If you missed it though, fear not. Google has kept the playable doodle alive here (looks like it's only the opening level though).
