Online discount site GrabOne has opened the virtual doors to
its product-centred arm, GrabOne Store.
GrabOne has been testing products in conjunction with
electronics and homewares specialist FirstIn for the past three months, and
says it was natural to branch out from dining and recreation into goods,
despite the recent proliferation of daily deal sites.
According to GrabOne CEO, Shane Bradley, "Over the past few
months we’ve seen the daily deal market become swamped with copycat sites.
"However, we feel there’s still a bit of room for an awesome
daily deal site selling quality goods.”
The site opened trading with deals on a camcorder and a set
of headphones, but has promised to offer a wide variety of goods including
clothing, homewares and toys.
