Developer Valve says, “Half-Life 2 took six years to build, and here almost six years later we get to release it again - this time on the Mac. As of today Half-Life 2, Half-Life 2: Episode 1, and Half-Life 2: Episode 2 are available on Steam on the Mac.”

The awesome news is that as they’re SteamPlay titles, if you own the PC versions, then you automatically get them on Mac too. And if you never played Half-Life 2, buying it gives you access on both systems. And trust us when we say you will play it through more than once.

Minimum Mac requirements are: OS X version Leopard 10.5.8, Snow Leopard 10.6.3, 1GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce 8 or higher, or ATI X1600 or higher, muse, keyboard, internet connection. Got all that? Good. GO!
