FYI, this story is more than a year old

This month must be the month for beta testing news; not only do we have a Quake Wars beta testing update for PC gamers but the release date for the beta testing to begin for arguably one of the most highly anticipated FPS console games ever – Halo 3, has been set for May the 17th, 2007. For those of you lucky enough to purchase your 360 copy of Crackdown in March, you’ll be automatically registered for the beta download in May. If you missed out on registration, well, it’s tough luck because registrations for the Halo 3 beta test are now closed. As always, Game Console is at the forefront of beta testing news so we’ll be sure to keep everyone updated on how we survived the three weeks of beta testing in the Halo universe!
