FYI, this story is more than a year old

Microsoft has given its veteran email service, Hotmail, an overhaul, adding several new features including better spam protection.

Microsoft has announced that Hotmail is now integrated with instant messaging service Windows Messenger, the Microsoft owned search engine Bing and online storage service, SkyDrive.

"You may start seeing the new features in your inbox as early as today" said Mike Schackwitz, program manager of the Windows Live Hotmail team in a recent blog post, "features like the new Sweep menu, the freshly integrated Office Web Apps, huge new attachment limits up to 10 GB using SkyDrive, and the ability to create and send photo albums right from Hotmail".
