How to use iTunes Radio in New Zealand
Wed, 9th Oct 2013
FYI, this story is more than a year old

With the release of iOS 7, you're probably wondering where iTunes Radio is?

Apple decided that you could only access it if you live in the USA.

If you want to listen to it or if you want to watch Netflix or Hulu on your iOS device, you'll need to create a new iTunes account to listen or download the apps.

You can setup a US or UK account (or both!). You will need a different email address for the different accounts as you will have a new Apple ID and it does work from your email address.

Step 1. Open iTunes and log out of your account if you're already logged in.

Step 2. At the bottom of iTunes, select Change Country

Change Country

Step 3. Select the country you want to use, it can be any country that iTunes is in. Select Country

Step 4: Go to the application store, find a free app and click to download it. Here's an excellent application to use! Netflix

Step 5: Click on Create Apple ID Create ID

Step 6: Fill in your details. You'll need a new email address as your Apple ID is your email address. Once completed, then you'll get to a billing page. iTunes billing screen

Select a payment type. You can either click none so you don't have to give any details, or if you've set up your virtual visa card through Entropay you can use that.

Enter an address in the appropriate country. If you've set up an account using Youshop as per our first article, use that address. Otherwise find an address in that country using a search engine.

And that's it, you'll be able to use that Apple ID on any device!

On your iOS device, go into Settings, select iTunes - App Store (if using iOS 7) tap on your Apple ID and select Sign Out. Then sign in with your US or UK Apple ID and you'll have access to the relevant App / iTunes Store. To listen to iTunes radio, close down the music app, restart it and there you go!
