Intel Aspire X-Navigator PC

We could write a review purely about the case of this PC – the stylish X-Navigator aluminum case is top of the line as far as chassis go. It is fully loaded with five cooling systems, handy clear side window, blue neon eye-candy and has plenty of multi-function expansion options. This latest Aspire model has been reworked to make it ideal for gamers (and PC enthusiasts) and the eye catching chassis will draw plenty of attention. The five built-in LED case fans provide superior cooling and the system boasts easily accessible front USB2.0 and Firewire port. Also on the front is the internal thermometer for the system’s thermal status and a five-way fan control dial – allowing you to control the strength of the fans to keep your system at an optimal temperature and prevent overheating. Aspire have put a lot of thought into the presentation of the X-Navigator and each one comes with two additional faceplates allowing you to change the front panel of your case to fit your mood and personal decor. Looks only get you so far, but luckily the performance of the X-Navigator is top of its game as well. Our unit came complete with Intel’s latest Pentium 4 Extreme Edition processor which has the ability to run on a 1066MHz bus, allowing the CPU to talk to dual channels of 533MHz DDR2 memory with the benefit of symmetry. This avoids a bottleneck of data and if you throw in a decent high-end video card (ATI Radeon X850 XT or the Nvidia GeForce 7800 GTX) you have one of the most powerful gaming systems available
