Kane and Lynch 2: Dog Days launch trailer
Fri, 13th Aug 2010
FYI, this story is more than a year old

Kane - Lynch 2: Dog Days hits shelves on August 17th, and Eidos Interactive has released the official launch trailer.

It's a game that both critics and punters alike are watching with interest; many of the big gaming media outlets made no bones about the problems inherent in its predecessor. In fact, it's even believed to have resulted in the notorious sacking of former Gamespot writer Jeff Gerstmann. Gerstmann certainly pulled no punches in his review of the first Kane - Lynch, despite the fact that the game was heavily advertised on his employer's site at the same time, which many believe led to his dismissal.

However, early previews and reactions to the recent multiplayer beta for Kane - Lynch 2 have been mostly positive thus far, so perhaps Eidos has managed to improve its flawed formula in all the right places. It's certainly home to some interesting and innovative multiplayer modes at the very least.
