FYI, this story is more than a year old

The Favorite Website Awards was established in 2000 and consistently recognises the world’s best web design at the forefront of the field..

New Zealand web design company Resn has now joined the ranks of the FWA Hall of Fame.

Founded in 2004 in Wellington, Resn is a team of creatives, designers, developers, illustrators, animators, musicians and producers. In 2012, they opened a new branch in Amsterdam and now employ 30 people across the two offices.

The majority of Resn's business is for the US market, where they partner closely with creative advertising agencies to design and build high profile web experiences for the world's biggest brands. Resn is known for taking challenging projects and delivering some of the most innovative web experiences on the planet.

“Resn first came to our attention in February 2008 with a very innovative and original website for a New Zealand band,” says Rob Ford, FWA founder.

“This first FWA win would be the first of a long and consistent run of wins for Resn as we quickly began to realise their trademark style, which was, and still is, cutting edge, creative, progressive, original and always overflowing with that rare digital ingredient… personality.

“It has been great to see Resn expand across the globe and to now be one of the most creative agencies in the world.”

There are now 23 inductees into the FWEA Hall of Fame, including Resn.

“We greatly appreciate the FWA and all their support over the years” says Resn. “As always, we will try to push the boundaries of interactive design ever outwards, to make the web a more interesting place to explore. We thank the FWA for acknowledging what we do”.
