LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens officially announced

Star Wars: The Force Awakens wowed audiences the world over recently, and now fans can relive the movie again by playing the LEGO tie-in video game.  Warner Bros. is proud to announce that it will be releasing LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens on June 29th, 2016 in New Zealand and Australia. The game will be out for the PS4, PS3, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Wii U, 3DS and PC platforms.  “We're extremely proud of the LEGO Star Wars videogames, truly an incredible franchise that has sold more than 33 million copies and helped ignite a passion for numerous fun-filled LEGO games enjoyed by countless gamers around the world,” said Tom Stone, Managing Director, TT Games. “LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens will be pushing the series forward with innovative new gameplay mechanics, while also exploring new parts of the universe that are sure to excite and delight both LEGO and Star Wars fans, as well as newcomers to our games.” LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens let's you play as many of the famous characters from the actual film. This includes the likes of Rey, Finn, Poe Dameron, Han Solo, Chewbacca, C-3PO, and BB-8, as well as Kylo Ren, General Hux and Captain Phasma. Familiar locations that will be in the game are Jakku and Starkiller base just to name a few.  For PS4 and PS3 gamers, they will get exclusive content in the form of the Droid Character Pack and the Phantom Limb Level Pack.
