Telecom kicked off its new brand this week with a television advertising campaign that does away with actors in favour of “regular New Zealanders”.
Director of marketing and brand Craig Herbison says the campaign focuses on real New Zealander’s with a “spark”.
“The campaign celebrates the sparks or passions that make these regular New Zealanders shine,” he says. “Telecom’s new brand is less focused on our wires, technology, and networks, and is more about our customers and their lives. So it made perfect sense to use real people rather than fictional characters and actors for this campaign.”
