Wireless Bluetooth speaker specialists BRAVEN have today announced the BRAVEN BRV-HD is now available in New Zealand and Australia.

Coined the ‘biggest and baddest speaker in the BRV line of ultra-rugged wireless speakers', the BRV-HD packs high-definition audio into a shock-absorbing, water-resistant body and features an aircraft-grade aluminium grill, capable of delivering 28 hours of uninterrupted play time.

The BRAVEN's BRV-HD can also charge smartphones or tablets with its 8,800mAh Lithium-ion internal battery.

The speakers feature TrueWireless, a technology that wirelessly connects with a second BRAVEN speaker to produce rich left and right stereo sound at a range of up to 30 feet.

“The BRV-HD is a commanding speaker that pushes wireless audio limits with incredible sound that turns any backyard gathering into a party,” explains Andy Fathollahi, BRAVEN chief executive. “The BRV-HD has loud, clear sound that elevates your listening experience and will satisfy even the most discerning audiophiles.

The BRV-HD uses Bluetooth connectivity and can be used to answer calls with a built-in noise-cancelling microphone. Designed to take on the elements, the BRV-HD is rainproof and can withstand accidental splashes with an IPX3 water-resistant rating.

The BRAVEN's BRV-HD pumps out full HD sound and full bass through extended-range aluminium cone drivers, dual-band limiters, passive radiators, and a digitally enhanced acoustics using DTS Audio's SRSWOW technology.

The speakers are distributed across Australia and New Zealand via MacGear and have been picked up by several New Zealand retailers including Harvey Norman, Noel Leeming, JB Hi-Fi, Yoobee and MightyApe.
