Expect Sony's PlayStation Store to be back online on 24 May (US time), with a slew of new content to be available.
Gamasutra reports that a company memo to Sony partners revealed it plans to push new content to the platform twice a week for the next two weeks to catch up with the backlog.
The first push, originally scheduled for 26 April, will go through when the store reopens. The next round will go through three days later.
According to Gamasutra:
"The relaunch of the PlayStation Store should get [consumers] one step closer to being able to claim the contents of their "Welcome Back" package. As detailed on Sony's U.S. PlayStation Blog, PlayStation 3 owners with existing PSN accounts will be able to download two free games from a pool that includes Dead Nation, Infamous, LittleBigPlanet, Super Stardust HD and Wipeout HD."
