Nintendo president Satoru Iwata revealed a new trailer for the upcoming The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword for the Nintendo Wii at the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco this morning. Previously, we'd only had a brief look at the game at last year's E3 conference where it was first announced.

Swordplay in Skyward Sword will rely heavily on the Wii MotionPlus peripheral, giving the player complete control of the in-game sword via the Wii Remote.

Also announced during Iwata's presentation is that the Nintendo 3DS remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is scheduled to release in June in the US. There's no word yet as to whether this applies to the Australasian territory.
