FYI, this story is more than a year old

Notable PDF has announced it is now a Google for Work Partner, making it the first New Zealand company to join Google’s latest partner program.

Notable PDF is a cloud based PDF viewer and annotation tool to be used with your browser. It works on browsers such as Chrome, Firefox and Safari, and for Google users that have a Google Chrome Extension and Google Drive Integration.

“We are very privileged to join the Google program,” says Hengjie Wang Co-founder and CEO of the Auckland based start-up.

“It will help us develop the product more for all our Google for Works and Google for Education users. The Google for Work Partner Program will help us enhance the value of Notable PDF for individual users, professionals and education users," he says.

“Notable PDF offers a broad set of powerful tools that will be useful for all Google users to work productively and efficiently. With our Google Drive integration and Google Chrome Extension, you no longer have to use any other PDF software to view and manipulate your files. It will not only improve your viewing experience but also enable you to do more with your PDF files,” Wang says.

Since the beta launch in March 2014, Notable PDF has had more than half a million installs making it one of the fastest growing PDF viewers on the cloud. Customers come from Google, Eaton Corporation and hundreds of K12 schools in the United States. Of these customers, 99 percent of users are from overseas, with 80 percent from North America, and just 1 percent of users are New Zealanders.

“It is quite difficult to penetrate to the US market especially for an NZ start-up like us. Our growth has been great these past few months and with this Partnership Program we can further improve the product for Google users and grow much faster. 2015 is going to be a great year for the company,” says Alliv Samson Co-founder and COO.
