Predator: Concrete Jungle

Predator: Concrete Jungle places you in the gripping tale of the alien’s history on Earth between two separate time periods, 1930 and 2030, as the Predator embarks on a mission of revenge upon a Mafia organisation and its leader who seek to expose its very existence.

Taking inspiration from the popular film franchise, the game allows players to roam a vast city landscape while stalking human prey with weapons of annihilation, cloaking technology, and various vision modes.

As fans of the movies will know - the star of this game carries a lot of equipment around with him and the game employs all of this as you hunt and catch prey. Firstly, the Predator’s trademark cloaking device has its three vision modes where you’ll be able to use thermal vision (which lets you see hot objects in dimly lit areas or behind thin cover and also lets you scan individual targets for strengths and weaknesses); neuro vision (which shows you the mental state of individuals and highlights enemies according to their affiliation); and tech vision (which highlights recharge / energy points, cloaked targets, and objects that you can interact with). In first-person mode, tech vision will also let you scan robots and security devices for weaknesses. The legendary triangle laser targeting sequences seen in the movies are also incorporated, along with the other weapons like the extending spear, shoulder missiles and razor smart disc. All of the visual effects associated with the aforementioned gadgets are graphically impressive, and you’ll find that all of them come in useful as you progress through the game.

As a forementioned, the start of the game is set in 1930 that gets the story up and running and lets you put your hunting skills to the test against humans who are far less challenging than those you’ll face some 100 years later. Mafia gangs, military units and robots make up just some of the targets you can stalk in an ever changing environment - increasing your tally to become the most respected warrior in your tribe - leaving a century of humans quivering in their boots.
