Renaissance rebrands YooBee - what went wrong?

Back in July The Channel brought you the first word on Renaissance gearing up to launch its own in-house brand.

At the time CEO Richard Webb said it wouldn’t be too dissimilar to Virgin.

Almost four months in and Renaissance has re-branded the YooBee website with a new logo.

When contacted about the rebranding, which seems to have happened very quickly after the original launch, a Renaissance spokesperson told us that, “The new branding has been a work in progress.”

Renaissance has yet to answer The Channel’s questions about the more 'grown up' look and if the change was made based on negative feedback.

We’re also seeking clarification on if this new logo is also work in progress or here to stay.
