Review: Linksys WRT610N Wireless Router

The Linksys WRT610N Wireless Router features support for both the Macintosh OS and Windows and can be used as a standalone router, or you can piggyback this router off an existing router already on your network. It also offers secure Wi-Fi WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) support for secure Wi-Fi networking.

Pros: It looks fantastic. The setup guide is easy enough to follow, but we’d recommend having at least a basic knowledge of how to set up a network before installing the router, especially if you’re looking to expand your network to use more than one router.

Cons: Not the type of hardware you’d consider buying as a first purchase for the home network, especially if you’re a beginner
to networking.

Verdict: A nice product for commercial users or knowledgeable home network users.
