Home Entertainment Suppliers (HES) Pty Ltd has announced that Grant Nisbett and Justin Marshall will provide their talents to voice the commentary for the upcoming Rugby Challenge. Also confirmed is that Rugby Challenge will release on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.

Rugby Challenge is currently in development at Wellington-based developer Sidhe.

"In developing Rugby Challenge, we have reached out to many experts who have lent their experience and talents to the game,” said David Robles, business development manager for HES. "Having dynamic commentary voiced by well-known professionals like Grant and Justin ensures an authentic and engaging gaming experience.”

"The attention to detail in the commentary has been amazing, and any possible scenario that can happen in the game of rugby has been covered here,” said Grant Nisbett, a veteran commentator of more than 200 test matches.

"Being involved in the development of a video game has been a great new experience,” said former All Black and experienced commentator Justin Marshall. "I’m looking forward to the game coming out as, from what I have seen, the detail is incredible!”

According to HES, Rugby Challenge features a host of licensed teams and competitions, including the All Blacks, the Qantas Wallabies, the ITM Cup and all of the Super Rugby teams. The game includes online play, an extensive franchise mode, comprehensive customisation options, tutorials and the aforementioned dynamic, real-time commentary.

Rugby Challenge is loosely scheduled with a Q3 release (between July and September).
