Samsung New Zealand has unveiled four new Windows 8 PCs under the recently expanded ATIV brand: ATIV Book 9 Plus, ATIV Book 9 Lite, ATIV Book 9 Lite Touch and the ATIV One 5 Style.
The tech giant says the new PCs deliver on the promise of ATIV by extending the mobile experience across mobile phone and PC environments.
Available from all key retailers nationwide, the line-up also converges the PC and mobile experiences through the inclusion of the recently introduced SideSync technology which enables sharing between the PC and Samsung smartphones.
Samsung is also introducing a new feature called HomeSync Lite, transforming the PC’s hard drive into a personal cloud server.
HomeSync Lite enables users to back-up their personal files, photos and videos from portable devices to PCs and access them remotely via a mobile device at anytime, anywhere.
ATIV Book 9 Plus (RRP $2,499)
The ATIV Book 9 Plus is the next generation of the ATIV Book 9. Thanks to 33,000 hours of engineering, the ATIV Book 9 Plus takes this premium PC to the next level.
The aluminium, uni-body design features several enhancements from the previous model, including a Windows 8 optimised touchscreen to give users a choice of inputs.
A premium, QHD＋ (3200 X 1800) display also comes with up to 12 hours of battery life that enables users to stay productive on a single charge during cross-continental flights.
ATIV Book 9 Lite (RRP $1,199)
The ATIV Book 9 Lite delivers the same premium design identity as the Book 9 and targets a larger consumer base.
Built with a ten-point touchscreen, Quad Core Processor and a 125GB SSD, the Book 9 Lite weights 1.6kgs and measures less than 2.5 cms thick.
ATIV Book 9 Lite Touch (RRP $1,349)
The ATIV Book 9 Lite Touch features a 13.3-inch, Full HD high-resolution LED touch display, making it well suited for viewing movies, photos, online games, and other multimedia along with general computer multitasking.
ATIV One 5 Style (RRP $1,399)
The One 5 Style is an all-in-one desktop PC build, becoming the first all-in-one launched since the expansion of the ATIV brand.
The ATIV One 5 also comes with a built in digital tuner for watching TV and HomeSync.
