Scribblenauts sequel incoming
Tue, 18th May 2010
FYI, this story is more than a year old

A follow-up to the 2009 draw-'em-up has been confirmed for a DS release later this year.

The sequel is said to expand on the elements from the original and offer upgraded controls, which sounds like you’ll again be using the stylus and touch screen to help Maxwell acquire the “Starite,” the prize earned from solving puzzles.

Dubbed Super Scribblenauts, you’ll have the ability to write any object that comes to mind and modify it in any way you desire using adjectives to reach the goal in many levels, says the press blurb.

It might sound more like an English lesson than a game but adjectives can change the colour, size, style, behaviours and many other aspects of the object you are describing. And multiple adjectives can be combined together such as gentlemanly, flaming, flying zombies and purple, obese, winged elephants.

Who's up for a sequel?
