FYI, this story is more than a year old

Golden Axe, Altered Beast, Space Harrier II and loads more coming to a PC near you from June (not emulated versions either).

If you own an Xbox 360 or PS3 then the fact that you can play classic Sega games on them is probably not new or even exciting to you. But if you only own a PC and don’t understand the world of ROMs and emulation programmes, then this is good news.

From June 1st Sega will release a bunch of classic old games, which prove that Sega doesn’t make them like it used to.

The first batch of games includes:

  • Comic Zone
  • Altered Beast
  • Crack Down
  • Gain Ground
  • Ecco the Dolphin
  • Shadow Dancer: the Secret of Shinobi
  • Golden Axe
  • Sonic 3D Blast
  • Vectorman
  • Shinobi III
  • Space Harrier II
Steam will probably be your best bet for the games, which also has an awesome Sega Complete Pack offer running.
