Fri, 7th Oct 2011
FYI, this story is more than a year old

TelstraClear broadband customers will be given unmetered access to content from the MediaWorks suite of TV channels, in a new partnership between the two companies.

The deal includes the TV channels TV3 and Four and their Video On Demand services, as well as radio sites The Edge, The Rock, More FM, Kiwi FM, George FM, Mai FM, Solid Gold, The Breeze, Radio Live and Live Sport.

TelstraClear head of consumer markets, Steve Jackson, says the deal adds to the unmetered content provided by the telco, which already included TradeMe, Ziln, and the On3 game network.

"We're committed to providing customers with high quality, reliable and good-value internet and telecommunications services,” Jackson says.

Siobhan McKenna, MediaWorks' director of interactive, says the partnership builds on a long relationship with the telco.

"TelstraClear makes a great partner for this as they have been providing us with telecommunication services for many years,” McKenna says.
