The games of E3 - Ubisoft
Tue, 15th Jun 2010
FYI, this story is more than a year old

First up, the publisher demoed Child of Eden for Kinect with Tetsuya Mizuguchi onstage playing the game live. It appears to be very similar to Rez, with Mizuguchi seemingly controlling the cursor via conductor-like motions with his hands.

Ubisoft appears to be embracing the Kinect technology with many titles from its upcoming lineup of games. A monitor onstage displayed the catchphrase, "Games you can feel".

Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood was up next, opening with a CGI trailer typical of the previous teasers of the Assassin's Creed Franchise. Set in 1503, Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood sees the return of protagonist Ezio Auditore. "Ezio has become a legend, highly regarded by his peers and actively hunted by the Templars", said the game's producer onstage (not Patrice Desiliets), who then proceeded to demo gameplay live on a PS3. Ezio was under attack by Templars, with an under-siege Villa Auditore crumbling around him. "In Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, we want you to take the offensive", said , who also mentioned that the enemies will be "much more aggressive" this time around. Ezio will also have more gadgets and machinery at his disposal, and gameplay variety is "still a priority". Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood is due for release on November 16th.
