Timezone New Zealand set to launch new arcade game called Halo: Fireteam Raven
Tue, 7th Aug 2018
FYI, this story is more than a year old

Kiwi gaming fans will be happy to know a new Halo arcade video game will be launching in New Zealand later this month! The game in question is called Halo: Fireteam Raven.  Since it will be a long time until we see the release of Halo Infinite, Halo: Fireteam Raven is the next best thing. This is a new shooter style arcade game that can support up to four players simultaneously. Timezone Wairau is the first New Zealand location to have this massive arcade machine and it will launch on August 28th, 2018. After that, two other Timezone locations will have the game on the following day.  “Bringing the arcade game version of Halo to Timezone at Xtreme Wairau gives the game's dedicated fan base a chance to play like never before. Timezone is thrilled to introduce this first-in-New Zealand experience to fans as part of Timezone's 40th birthday celebrations,” says Gary Walker, CEO of Timezone New Zealand The game offers 4K visuals, 5.1 surround sound on a huge 130-inch widescreen. Timezone is also allowing one fan to attend the VIP launch party. All you need to do to win is visit the official Timezone New Zealand Facebook page and say you want to play the game on the pinned 'Halo' post.  FutureFiveNZ has been invited to the launch party so we will let you know later this month what it is like playing Halo: Fireteam Raven.
