Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 grinding to consoles in late 2015

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 has now been officially announced and it is skating to consoles later this year.

The annoucement was made on the latest issue of Game Informer. Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 will return to the series' roots offering a more old-school style of gameplay experience.

Instead of being an open world landscape, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 will include nine levels. There will be the usual objectives and missions that you have to complete in each level.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 will also include a level editor and a robust online mode. The game is being developed by Robomodo who developed Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD.

The following real-life skaters will be in the game: Tony Hawk, Nyjah Huston, Aaron Homoki, Ishod Wair, Riley Hawk, Lizzie Armanto, Chris Cole, David Gonzalez, Leticia Bufoni, and Andrew Reynolds.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 will be available later this year for PS4 and Xbox One. The PS3 and Xbox 360 versions will shortly follow after this.
