Ubisoft’s popular squad-based tactical shooter series Ghost Recon will soon feature on the Nintendo Wii in the form of Ghost Recon: Future Soldier. The next game in the series, Future Soldier will also launch on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, although it’s the first time the franchise will appear on the Wii.
The company’s CEO, Yves Guillemot, recently made the announcement. He added that it will be developed by a different team than those working on the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions and will consist of an experience tailored to the Wii’s user base.
Xbox 360 gamers can expect to see a multiplayer beta for Ghost Recon: Future Soldier hit Xbox Live on April 13.
