Vodafone scores exclusive on Samsung Galaxy S6
Tue, 7th Apr 2015
FYI, this story is more than a year old

Vodafone has opened exclusive sales of the Samsung Galaxy S6 and the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge for the New Zealand market.

Last year, Vodafone offered a ‘gold exclusive' sale of the S5, and Matt Williams, Vodafone consumer director, says Kiwis ‘embraced' the phone.

This year, the company is offering early customers a gold exclusive package deal including Samsung Level On headphones and access to Netflix.

“We're giving the first 600 customers who pre-order the Samsung Galaxy S6 or Galaxy S6 edge with any 24 month Red+ plan a free set of premium Samsung Level On headphones worth $299.

“Plus, Vodafone customers who sign up to any 24 month Red+ plan get Netflix free for six months so they can stream the latest movies and TV shows right to their fingertips anywhere, any time,” says Williams.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 edge are Semble-ready, meaning customers may be able to use the latest smartphone to tap and pay.

Williams says the new Galaxy phones will enable customers to utilise New Zealand's 4G network, which now reaches more than 80% of New Zealand.

Kiwis wanting to experience the speed of 4G need a 4G-capable device, require a qualifying plan and to be in a 4G coverage area.

The device seamlessly switches to Vodafone's next fastest 3G speeds when customers leave the 4G coverage area.

Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 edge available in-stores nationwide from Saturday 11 April.
