Vodafone shows improved average surf speeds in May
Thu, 22nd Jun 2017
FYI, this story is more than a year old

The latest TrueNet monthly test scores are in and the findings show Vodafone upped their game in May.

The data shows Vodafone's surfing speeds are up 30% over April. Vodafone Cable connections registered a 31% increase in average speed and Vodafone Fibre speeds increased 29%.

After reporting a significant lag behind other ISPs in April, it is a good sign to see Vodafone offering more stable connections.

TrueNet is an independent measurement provider that is dedicated to reporting on ISP broadband performance. They run monthly tests to ascertain the the latency, jitter, packet loss, DNS time, download speeds and video.

Other results in this month's report show increases in Trustpower Fibre (9%), Bigpipe Fibre (2%), and MyReplublic Fibre (3%).

Slight speed drops were registered across other providers, but none exceeding 5%.
