World of Tanks now available free on PlayStation 4

The hit online tank battle game, World of Tanks has finally made its debut on PlayStation 4. PC, Xbox and even tablet owners have been able to enjoy the fast-paced tank battles offered by Wargaming.net’s flagship game for some time. With this new release, World of Tanks is now available to play on all major gaming platforms.

The game brings intense, free-to-play, 15v15 tank warfare to a new generation of players with exclusive PS4 features. Players that download the game now can take advantage of some limited time offers including a free T1E6-PS US Premium Light Tank with special camouflage, the “Girls und Panzer” Pz.Kpfw. IV Ausf. H Elite tank and unique Founder’s Packs.

This newest addition to the Wargaming line-up immerses players in epic tank battles with great graphics, detailed maps and an impressive tech tree featuring 130 historically-accurate vehicles from the USA, Germany, and the USSR. Light, medium and heavy tank destroyers and artillery each bring unique strengths to the battlefield and giving tank commanders the opportunity to refine their skills with each vehicle’s special characteristics.

All players who log into the game before the end of January will receive the free T1E6-PS US Premium Light Tank with special camouflage. Also included in the release version and available until April 30 is the Girls und Panzer Pz.Kpfw. IV Ausf. H Elite tank, which can be unlocked by battling with the regular version of this tank. Founder's Packs loaded with Premium vehicles and in-game content including Premium Account time, in-game currency and rare tanks are available for purchase via the PlayStation Store are.

PlayStation Plus members will gain access to a Premium Bundle at launch including the exclusive Pz.Kpfw. II Ausf. J German Light Tank with 3 days of Premium Account time, along with special discounts on other purchases.

World of Tanks is free to play online and does not require PlayStation Plus membership. The game is available to download from the PlayStation Store, now.
